Trinity has over 20 years of experience working on residential and commercial projects. She is proud to have represented District 1 on the City of Austin Planning Commission and to have served as the Vice Chair of the Chestnut Neighborhood Plan and Contact Team for 5 years.
She uses her expertise and skills for the greater good of the community, preserving existing buildings where she can and providing access to sustainable and thoughtful design for a wide range of projects. Her focus is on helping individuals and families through the process of dreaming, designing and finally creating spaces that are affordable, sustainable and inspiring.
Values
Persistent - Trinity works hard to deliver spaces that her clients absolutely love. She enjoys challenging herself to not be complacent with the first solution that works, to push past and find the best solution; the solution that balances the priorities of the clients, the restrictions of the building codes and the physical environment.
Servant Leadership – Trinity believes in using her powers for good. Taking her expertise and knowledge to best serve her clients and community. Trinity operates with a posture of helping. She helps people make the best design choices within the constraints of their property and budget. She helps them navigate the complex and intimidating process with patience and care.
Meaningful – Trinity seeks out meaningful work, and her clients seek out a conscientious architect. Clients who are interested in creating beautiful, functioning, sustainable spaces, that are respectful of their environment and their neighborhood. People who want to work collaboratively.
Design Manifesto
Aesthetically, Trinity White’s designs are not driven by a pre-commitment to one particular style; rather, she believes in designs that work well in their local surroundings, speak directly to the client’s own tastes, and have a cohesion wherein the individual gestures add up to a clear and beautiful overall statement. She leans towards a contemporary palette made accessible through the integration of natural, warm durable materials. Natural light plays an important role in all her work.
As a long time student of sustainable design, she finds that making beautiful and environmentally sustainable projects doesn’t require exotic or expensive components, but can be accomplished simply by paying rigorous attention to environmentally sound building principles at every stage of the design process.
Trinity is a LEED Accredited Architect, Licensed in the state of Texas, and has rated a 5-star project with Austin Energy Green Building.
